ਆਪੇ ਕਰੇ ਕਰਾਏ ਆਪੇ ॥
aapay karay karaa-ay aapay.
He Himself acts, and inspires all to act.
ਆਪੇ ਵੇਖੈ ਥਾਪਿ ਉਥਾਪੇ ॥
aapay vaykhai thaap uthaapay.
He Himself watches over all; He establishes and disestablishes.
ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਸੇਵਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਭਾਵੈ ਸਚੁ ਸੁਣਿ ਲੇਖੈ ਪਾਇਦਾ ॥੧੫॥
gurmukh sayvaa mayray parabh bhaavai sach sun laykhai paa-idaa. ||15||
The service of the Gurmukh is pleasing to my God; one who listens to the Truth is approved. ||15||

The One does, and moves everything else to do; nothing acts entirely on its own.
The One watches over all, sets up and takes down, and the heart that listens to truth and serves gladly is welcomed.
The heart that listens to truth is always welcome.
Divine agency lies behind all action. Deep listening to truth is what earns approval, echoing the teaching of Japji.
