Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa
Those who search their own inner depths through the Word grow bright and adorned.
Meditating on the Naam, they receive what their hearts wished for.
Even fairness itself becomes their friend, and the path ahead holds no dread; day and night they rest in the Name.
When you live true, even fairness itself is on your side.
The fourteenth Pauree (||14||). 'The Righteous Judge of Dharma is his friend': for those attuned to the Naam, the figure of judgment becomes a companion, and the road ahead holds no dread. Inner searching through the Shabad is what makes one radiant, and grace brings the meeting with the Guru.
