Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa
My foolish mind, why let doubt lead me astray?
I have not recognised the One of supreme bliss, free of every attachment.
Doubt loosens the moment you remember the calm joy underneath it.
The bairaagee Lord of supreme bliss (parmaanand) is the calm, unattached joy at the center of things. Doubt (bharam) is what veils it. The soft self-address, here read gently, is a nudge to remember, not a scolding. Turning toward the bliss dissolves the doubt.
A Question to Sit With
What helps you turn away from doubt and toward calm?
