In plain words

In the shelter of wisdom, we're kept safe and lifted up.

Like the elephant who was caught in the water and pulled out — help reaches you when you need it.

When you're caught and stuck, help can reach you and pull you out — like the elephant lifted from the water.
The deeper layer

The rahao returns to the beloved elephant-and-crocodile story: "as He protected the elephant, when the crocodile seized it... He lifted him up and pulled him out." When we're caught and can't free ourselves, help comes when we reach for it. For a child: when you're caught and stuck, help can reach you and pull you out — like the elephant lifted from the water.

A Question to Sit With

When you were stuck, who reached out and pulled you to safety?
