The thread of my breath has been made totally sublime and pure; I contemplate the Shabad, the Word of the True Guru.

I came back to the home of my own inner self; drinking in the ambrosial essence, I see the world, without my eyes. ||7||
Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa
My every breath feels clean and bright now, turning good words over in my heart.
I came home to myself, and drinking that sweetness, I see the world with new eyes.
When you come home to yourself, you start to see the world with new, deeper eyes.
The verse: "the thread of my breath has been made pure... I came back to the home of my own inner self; drinking the ambrosial essence, I see the world without my eyes." Coming home to oneself, one sees with inner sight — a deeper way of seeing, beyond just the physical eyes. For a child: when you come home to yourself, you start to see the world with new, deeper eyes.
A Question to Sit With
What does it mean to 'see' something with your heart, not just your eyes?
