Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa
The Temple of the One is the One's own shop, made beautiful with the Shabad.
In that shop there is just one thing to trade: the Naam. Those who face the Guru take it and wear it like their finest clothes.
There is only one thing in the shop worth buying: the Naam.
Your inner temple is a shop with one precious thing in it: the Naam.
Har kaa haat: the One's shop. Sa-udaa: the goods for trade. The gurmukh, the one who faces the Guru, takes the Naam and is made beautiful by it. The trader's image frames a life of the spirit as honest exchange.
