In plain words

The way of a yogi is to live in a home of natural, settled peace inside.

They look at everyone with the same eyes, seeing the one Light in all. The gift they receive is love and the Word, and with that they are full.

A true yogi is at home in inner peace and sees one Light in everyone.
The deeper layer

A yogi's true home is a settled peace inside.

This is the rahaa-o line. Rahaa-o means "pause." It is the center of the shabad, the idea the other verses build on.

Jogee jugat sahj ghar vaasai — the yogi's true way is to live in the home of sahj. Sahj means natural, easy peace. It is a calm inside that does not need to be forced.

Next: ayk darisat ayko kar daykhi-aa — they look at everyone with one equal gaze. They see the same Light in every person. So no one is above or below anyone else. It is like a teacher who cares about every student in the class the same.

Yogis often lived on bheekhi-aa, the food given to them. Here the only gift this yogi needs is bhaa-ay sabad — love, and the Word. With those, they are full.

A Question to Sit With

What would change if you looked at everyone with the same kind eyes?
