A Paakhandi, a seeker of the old yogi ways, is one who washes the dirt out of their body.
The fire inside their body lights up the One within.
They keep their energy whole, even while they sleep.
Someone like that does not grow old or die.
Charpat says: the One is Truth itself. The highest reality has no outline and no form.
A seeker worth the name cleans the inside, not just the outside.
A paakhandee here is a name for a yogi. So paakhandee je kaa-i-aa pakhaalay means "the true one is he who washes his body clean of dirt," meaning the dirt inside.
Kaa-i-aa kee agan barahm parjaalay means "the fire in the body lights up the One within." Think of a lamp you clean until the glass is clear. Then its light shines out brightly. Yogis talked a lot about an inner fire. Here that fire lights up Barahm, the One inside.
The verse also speaks of keeping the body's energy steady and whole, even in sleep. Such a person does not grow old or die inside. This line is spoken in the name of Charpat, another yogi master. It ends like the others: the One is truth itself, with no outline and no shape.
What clutter inside would you like to clear so you can see more clearly?
