In plain words

The one who pleases You is the one who understands You.

The one who pleases You is welcomed in Your court.

When You look on someone with grace, their ego is gone.

When You are fully pleased with someone, their wrongs are wiped away.

The one who has the Master on their side becomes fearless.

The one You bless with mercy becomes true.

The one You bless with kindness is not touched by fire.

You are always kind to those who take the Guru's teaching to heart.

With the One beside you, fear stops running the show.
The deeper layer

A pauree of pure grace-grammar: understanding, acceptance in the Court, the erasing of egotism — all come when You bestow Your Grace. From it flow the Mool Mantar qualities: fearlessness (nirbhau) and truthfulness. The one blessed with kindness is not touched by fire — an echo of the shelter where no hot wind can reach.

A Question to Sit With

When do you feel brave, and who or what helps you feel that way?
