In plain words

Hearing, again and again, how great the True Naam is, I come alive.

Even beasts, restless spirits and those who know nothing are lifted up in a single moment.

Day and night, repeat Your Naam, forever and ever.

The most terrible thirst and hunger are filled by Your Naam.

Sickness, sorrow and pain run away from the one whose mind holds the Naam.

The one who delights in the Guru's Word finds the precious Beloved.

Endless worlds and universes are carried across by You, the Infinite One.

Your glory belongs to You alone, my True and Beloved One.

No one is ever too far gone to be turned around.
The deeper layer

No one is outside the reach of the Naam: even those the world has written off (the beasts and goblins of the verse) can be lifted in an instant. Hearing of the greatness of the Naam is enough to live. Disease, sorrow and pain run off when the Naam dwells within, and all the glory belongs to the One alone.

A Question to Sit With

Have you ever seen someone change for the better when others had given up on them?
