The holy books stand guard and watch, and still death comes and carries you away.
Time slips by quietly even when we think we are paying attention — so use it well.
Even while we think we are paying attention, our days are quietly slipping away. Even scripture standing guard cannot halt the passing of time. This is not meant to frighten, only to wake you up: use your time well, because it does not wait.
