Saluting the Diamond

ਹੀਰਾ ਦੇਖਿ ਹੀਰੇ ਕਰਉ ਆਦੇਸੁ ॥
heeraa daykh heeray kara-o aadays.
Gazing upon the diamond, I humbly salute this diamond.
ਕਹੈ ਕਬੀਰੁ ਨਿਰੰਜਨ ਅਲੇਖੁ ॥੨॥੨॥੧੧॥
kahai kabeer niranjan alaykh. ||2||2||11||
Says Kabir, the Immaculate Lord is indescribable. ||2||2||11||

Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

Seeing the Diamond, I bow to the Diamond.

Kabir says: the Stainless One is beyond all describing.

Some things are so wonderful that bowing says more than words can.
The deeper layer

The radiant One shines like a flawless diamond (heeraa), and seeing it is itself a bow. The One is niranjan alekh — stainless and beyond description. Some things are so wonderful that no words can hold them; wonder itself is the response.

A Question to Sit With

Have you ever seen something so beautiful that words did not feel like enough?
