The Lord's humble servants are pools of ambrosial nectar; by great good fortune, one bathes in them. ||1||
Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa
If great good fortune is mine, I will meet the One's humble servants without delay.
The One's humble servants are like clear pools of nectar. By great good fortune, a person bathes in them.
When clear water is near, do not wait to step in.
Dhil na laa-ee-ai — no delay. The good are amrit kunt sar, pools or tanks of nectar; being in their company is bathing (naavaa-ee-ai) in living water. The urgency is quiet: when the good is near, do not postpone it.
A Question to Sit With
What good thing have you been putting off that you could step into now?
