ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਨਾਮ ਕੀ ਵਡਿਆਈ ॥
har kay naam kee vadi-aa-ee.
Such is the glorious greatness of the Name of the Lord.
ਕੀਮਤਿ ਕਹਣੁ ਨ ਜਾਈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
keemat kahan na jaa-ee. ||1|| rahaa-o.

Such is the greatness of the Naam of the One.
No one can say what it is worth.
The most valuable things can't be given a price.
Its worth cannot be told: keemat kahan na jaa-ee. Some things are precious precisely because they can't be priced; naming a number would already shrink them.
This is the rahaa-o, the "pause" line, the centre of the shabad.
