Raamkalee, Fifth Mehl:
naa tan tayraa naa man tohi.
Neither your body nor your mind belong to you.
maa-i-aa mohi bi-aapi-aa Dhohi.
Attached to Maya, you are entangled in fraud.
kudam karai gaadar ji-o chhayl.
You play like a baby lamb.

But suddenly, Death will catch you in its noose. ||1||
Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa
Your body is not yours, and your mind is not yours.
Tangled up in Maya, the glittering, passing show of the world, you are fooled.
You skip and play like a little lamb without a care in the world.
But suddenly, without warning, death throws its loop around you.
Nothing here is yours to keep, so hold it all a little more lightly.
Neither body nor mind belongs to you: naa tan tayraa naa man tohi. Both are on loan. Maya is the dazzle of the passing world. The lamb at play does not see the loop coming; the warning is to wake up and live awake while you can, out of clear sight rather than fear.
A Question to Sit With
If everything you own is only borrowed for a while, what would you spend your time on?
