You cheat, and you know so many tricks.
For the sake of tiny shells, you throw dust on your own head.
You never even think of the One who gave you your very life.
And the ache of false greed never leaves you.
Chasing pennies can cost you the treasure right in front of you.
For the sake of tiny shells, a person gives up what is priceless: kaudee kaudee ka-o. Throwing dust on your own head is an old picture of shame and loss, the price of cleverness spent on the wrong things. The sool (thorn-pain) of greed keeps aching as long as the grip holds.
A Question to Sit With
Have you ever wanted something small so badly you almost missed something bigger?
