They let their life slip away for nothing.
Without the Naam, a life drifts by in confusion.
Bin naavai sabh bhoolee firdee — without the Name, the mind roams lost, and birthaa janam gavaa-ee, a life slips by in vain. What is missing is an anchor, and the Name is that anchor.
