Endless Good to Sing About

tis ki-aa gunaa kaa ant na paa-i-aa ha-o gaavaa sabad veechaaree. ||9||
The limits of His virtues cannot be found; I sing His Praises and contemplate the Word of the Shabad. ||9||

Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

The good in the One has no edge and no bottom — you could never reach the end of it.

So I sing the One's praises, and I think deeply about the Word.

Some good things are too vast to measure, only to celebrate.
The deeper layer

Tis ki-aa gunaa kaa ant na paa-i-aa — the limit of His virtues cannot be found. The only fitting response to the infinite is not to measure it but to celebrate it: gaavaa sabad veechaaree, singing and contemplating. Wonder replaces calculation.

A Question to Sit With

What is something so good you could keep discovering more of it forever?
