Praise Without End

ਸਦਾ ਸਦਾ ਸਾਲਾਹਿਹੁ ਸੰਤਹੁ ਤਿਸ ਦੀ ਵਡੀ ਵਡਿਆਈ ॥੧੫॥
sadaa sadaa saalaahihu santahu tis dee vadee vadi-aa-ee. ||15||
Forever and ever, praise the Lord, O Saints; how glorious is His greatness! ||15||

Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

Forever and ever, O saints, praise the One.

How glorious is the One's greatness!

Gratitude for the One is something you can always return to.
The deeper layer

Praise the One again and again, because the One's greatness has no end.

Sadaa sadaa saalaahihu santahu means "praise the One forever and ever, O saints." It is a warm invitation to be thankful. It is not an order.

Tis dee vadee vadi-aa-ee means "how great is Your greatness!" It has no limit. Think of trying to count the stars on a clear night. You could never reach the end, and it is a joy to keep looking.

A Question to Sit With

What is something you never get tired of being thankful for?
