In plain words

Grace makes you its own, and a clear, whole understanding opens up inside you.

Every peace and every joy comes from turning your attention, again and again, toward the One.

Every peace flows from where you place your attention.
The deeper layer

The One's kindness makes a person the One's own. Then understanding opens up, and peace pours in.

Dhaar anoograhu apnee kar leenee means showing kindness, the One makes you the One's own. Gurmukh means a person who faces the Guru. Such a person becomes poor gi-aanee, full of clear, whole understanding. That understanding is received in love, not forced.

Sarab sookh aanand ghanayray means every peace and deep joy. It comes from daras Dhi-aanee, keeping your attention on the sight of the One. Think of a sunflower that keeps turning toward the sun. It does not strain. It just follows the light, and it grows.

A Question to Sit With

What happens to your mood when you place your attention on something you love?
