Those Gurmukhs who fall at His Feet deal with the True Lord and serve the True Lord.

O Nanak, those who walk in harmony with the Guru's Will are intuitively absorbed in the True Lord. ||2||

In plain words

Some people trade only in Truth and serve only Truth. They bow at the Guru's feet and carry themselves gently, without ever needing to stand above anyone. There is a quiet humility in them.

Nanak says: when you walk in step with the Guru's will, you do not have to force anything. You settle into it as naturally as a river settling into its own path, and Truth simply becomes where you live.

You do not have to force your way to truth; you settle into it.
The deeper layer

Shalok, Third Mehl. Those who fall at the feet — deep humility — deal in and serve Truth (sach vanjahi sach sayvday). Walking in harmony with the Guru's will (bhaanai chalai), they are absorbed sahjay — with natural, effortless ease (sahj) — into Truth. Sahj is the poise of one who has stopped fighting their own nature.

A Question to Sit With

What is something you do so naturally now that it once felt hard?
