Found At Home All Along

ਆਨ ਉਪਾਵ ਜੇਤੇ ਕਿਛੁ ਕਹੀਅਹਿ ਤੇਤੇ ਸੀਖੇ ਪਾਵਤ ॥
aan upaav jaytay kichh kahee-ahi taytay seekhay paavat.
As many other efforts as you can think of - I have seen them and studied them all.

My Beloved, Carefree Lord has revealed Himself within the home of my own heart; thus I have realized the Inaccessible Lord. ||3||

Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

I tried every method I could think of, studied every path, chased every technique. I looked everywhere.

And then the One I was searching for simply showed up — not far away, but inside the home of my own heart. The thing I traveled the world for was waiting right where I lived.

What you search the whole world for may be waiting in your own heart.
The deeper layer

After exhausting every outer effort, the seeker finds the One within the home of the heart. The Inaccessible becomes reachable not by adding another technique but by turning inward. The search ends right where it began.

A Question to Sit With

Have you ever looked everywhere for something and found it right where you started?
