In plain words

The One's servant has let go of all self-importance.

Keep me however You know is best, Lord of the world. Seeing Your glory, I live.

Setting down 'look how important I am' makes room to feel alive.
The deeper layer

When you let go of thinking you are the most important one, you can finally trust.

This is the rahaa-o, the "pause" line, the center of the shabad.

"Chhodi-aa saglaa aap" means dropping all self-importance. The ego is set down, not crushed. It is like finally putting down a heavy school bag you did not need to carry.

"Ji-o jaanhu ti-o rakhahu" means keep me however You know is best. That is deep trust in Hukam, the way the One's order flows through everything.

Then comes "paykh jeevaan partaap," I live by seeing Your greatness. Just seeing that greatness all around is enough to feel fully alive.

A Question to Sit With

When have you felt most alive just from noticing how amazing the world is?
