The Gurmukh praises the Lord forever; that alone happens, which the Creator Lord does. ||7||

In plain words

The Creator who made the world is the only one who understands it.

The One made the whole universe, and the One will fold it back in again.

Everyone has grown tired of wandering through all the ages, yet no one has found out how great the One is.

The True Guru showed me the One, and my mind and body are at peace.

Turning to the Guru, praise the One forever; whatever the Creator does, that is what happens.

When the Guru shows you the One, your whole self settles into peace.
The deeper layer

kartai kaaran, so jaanai so-ee = only the Maker knows the making. jug chaaray sabh bhav thakee = all have grown weary wandering the four ages. satgur ayk vikhaali-aa, man tan sukh ho-ee = the Guru showed the One, and peace followed — the fruit of realization.

A Question to Sit With

What is something that instantly calms you down when you finally understand it?
