Let no one speak badly of the saints, because the saints and the One are one.
Kabir says: I have found that Guru whose name is Clear-Seeing.
Speak kindly of the good, and follow the teacher called Clear-Seeing.
Santaa ka-o mat ko-ee nindahu — let no one speak badly of the sant, the saints, the kind and holy people. Sant raam hai ayko — the saint and raam, the One, are one. Their goodness comes straight from the One.
If someone is being unkind to you or hurting you, that is never something you have to accept. Telling a grown-up you trust is always the right thing to do.
Kaho kabeer mai so gur paa-i-aa jaa kaa naa-o bibayko — Kabir says, I have found the Guru whose name is bibayk. Bibayk means clear seeing: telling what is real from what is false, and what helps from what harms. Think of a good flashlight on a dark trail. It shows you which way is path and which way is mud. Kabir says this clear seeing is the truest teacher of all.
