You created the entire Universe out of the five elements; if anyone can create a sixth, let him.

You unite some with the True Guru, and cause them to understand, while others, the self-willed manmukhs, do their deeds and cry out in pain. ||3||

In plain words

You built the whole universe out of five elements: earth, water, fire, air, and space. If anyone thinks they could add a sixth, let them try.

You draw some hearts to the Guru and open their understanding. Others stay wrapped up in their own way and find themselves aching, and the door is always there for the moment they turn.

No one can add to the One's creation; we can only turn toward it.
The deeper layer

panch tat kar tuDh sarisat saajee — creation from the five elements; the challenge ko-ee chhayvaa kari-o (“let someone make a sixth”) underscores that no one adds to the One’s making. The manmukh’s crying (rovai) is rendered as the ache of self-will, held open to return rather than condemned.

A Question to Sit With

What is something in the world you are glad you do not have to hold together yourself?
