By Guru's Grace, says servant Bheekhan, I have found the Door of Salvation. ||3||1||

Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

The Name of the Beloved is like pure, cool, life-giving water, the finest medicine in all the world.

By grace, says Bhikhan, His servant, I have found it, and with it, a wide-open door into peace and freedom.

The deepest healing is love, freely given, like cool water to the thirsty.
The deeper layer

The shabad resolves fully into hope. The Name as amrit jal (nectar-water) is the true medicine, and mokh duaaraa (the door of freedom) opens by grace, always given, never earned. The whole arc moves from frailty to healing, exactly the movement the project cherishes: keep the honesty, bend toward hope.

A Question to Sit With

What is something that heals the heart even when the body is tired?
