It's more beautiful than words, too deep to reach by force — yet through the teaching, the unknowable quietly becomes known.
This treasure can't be grabbed; it can only be given, and the Guru shows the way to it.
Jis kee vath so-ee parabh jaanai — only the One whose treasure it is truly knows it. Jis no day-ay so paa-ay — whoever the One gives it to receives it. It is a gift, not a prize.
The treasure is at agam agochar. Agam means out of reach. Agochar means beyond what eyes and ears can sense. Yet there is a gentle exception: gur pooraa alakh lakhaa-ay — the Perfect Guru makes the unknowable known.
Think of a tricky math idea. You can stare at it for an hour and not get it. Then a good teacher draws one picture, and suddenly you see. You can't seize this treasure by force. You can be shown it.
