In plain words

Whatever your hunger, that's exactly what the Fulfiller supplies — the One who tends every heart.

My thirst was for the seeing itself — and the One, who knows every heart, came and met me.

Whatever you truly hunger for, the One meets — and the deepest hunger is simply to see it.
The deeper layer

This one says: the One meets each heart right where its hunger is.

Jaisee bhookh taisee kaa poorak: as the hunger is, so is the filling. Think of a parent who can tell if you need a snack, a hug, or just some quiet. The One knows each heart's true hunger, and fills it.

The deepest hunger is not for things. It is for darsan, the seeing, simply being with the One. And that hunger gets answered: parabh mili-aa antarjaamee. The One who knows every heart from the inside came and met the Guru.

Again and again, the songs of Raag Sorath aim for this spot. A heart wanted the right thing, and it was answered.

A Question to Sit With

What is the deepest thing you find yourself longing for, underneath everything else?
