Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

The Maker Himself stood in the way of harm, and not a single hair of mine was touched.

The teacher made my washing-clean complete; holding the One in mind, the old marks washed away.

To be truly kept safe is to come through with not a hair harmed.
The deeper layer

Vaal na vingaa ho-aa -- not a hair was bent; a vivid picture of complete protection. Majan... aandaa raasay -- the inner cleansing was brought to success; safety and inner washing pictured together.

A Question to Sit With

When have you come through something scary and realized you were okay after all?
