In plain words

I will go and ask those sisters who have delighted in their Beloved.

I touch their feet and ask them to show me the way.

Wisdom is teachability — admitting you don't know the way, and humbly asking those who already walk it to show you.
The deeper layer

After honesty comes the next step: going to ask those who know.

Jinee sakhee saho raavi-aa — the friends who have found their Beloved. Nanak says he will go to them. Paa-ay laga-o bayntee kara-o — I touch their feet and ask them. In India, touching someone's feet is a way of showing deep respect. Lay-ugee panth bataa-ay — they will show me the path.

Wisdom here means being willing to learn. Think of a new player asking the team captain for tips, instead of pretending to know everything.

You don't find the path by figuring it all out alone. You find it by humbly asking those who already walk it.

A Question to Sit With

Who could you 'go and ask' — humbly — to show you a way you haven't found on your own?
