The Formless One Can't Be Shrunk to a Single Form

ਦਰੋਗੁ ਪੜਿ ਪੜਿ ਖੁਸੀ ਹੋਇ ਬੇਖਬਰ ਬਾਦੁ ਬਕਾਹਿ ॥

Reading and studying falsehood, people are happy; in their ignorance, they speak nonsense.

The True Creator Lord is diffused into His creation; He is not just the dark-skinned Krishna of legends. ||2||

In plain words

People read and study, and feel pleased with themselves, but in their confusion they talk nonsense.

The true Maker is spread through the whole of creation — not just the one legendary form the old stories picture.

The formless One can't be shrunk to a single form or legend — it's the indwelling reality of the whole of creation.
The deeper layer

Kabir deepens the P0 critique and adds a non-dual, evenhanded point: "the True Creator Lord is diffused into His creation; He is not just the dark-skinned Krishna of legends." The One is not confined to a single legendary form or story — it is the whole of creation's indwelling reality. This is the same move as Naam Dayv's "if one stone is a god": the formless One cannot be shrunk to one image, one legend, one form, because it is present in all of them and beyond them. The critique targets confining God, not any devotion.

A Question to Sit With

Where might you be picturing the deepest reality too narrowly — as one form — when it's present in everything?
