True teacher, I've come to You for shelter.
Give me the calm and the quiet glow of the Name, and take this worry off my chest.
Sometimes the bravest thing is simply asking for shelter and to have the worry lifted.
A short, aching prayer of sharan — taking refuge. The one who prays isn't performing strength; they're admitting they need shelter, and asking for two things: peace and the lifting of chintaa (anxiety). It's one of the most human requests in the whole raag — not for success or power, but for the specific relief of a mind that has been carrying too much worry for too long.
A Question to Sit With
When you're carrying a lot of worry, what actually helps it lift — and who do you turn to?
