Do not go on Death's path; remain merged in the Word of the Shabad, the true form throughout the ages.

Through good fortune, we meet such friends and relatives, who meet with the Guru, and escape the noose of Death. ||2||
Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa
In plain words
Come, dear friends — gather round, hold me close, and share your good wishes with me.
Real closeness to the good, once found, can never be broken.
So don't wander off from what matters — stay close to good, true words, together.
Gather your loved ones close, share good wishes — and know that real closeness to the good can never be broken.
The deeper layer
This is a warm, tender verse — a person asking their loved ones for blessing and togetherness: "come, Baba, and Siblings of Destiny, let's join together; take me in your arms, and bless me with your prayers." And the beautiful reassurance: "union with the True Lord cannot be broken." Real closeness to the good, once found, is unbreakable. For a child: gather your loved ones close, share good wishes — and know that real closeness to the good can never be broken.
A Question to Sit With
Who would you want to gather close and share good wishes with?
