The virtuous soul-brides dwell on the Lord's virtues; they keep their Husband Lord in their remembrance, and so they never suffer separation from Him.

So praise your True Husband Lord, who is all-powerful to do all things. ||1||

In plain words

Praise the true, steady One who can do anything.

A heart truly close to the good is never really left alone — its Beloved never dies and never leaves.

Treasuring the good and keeping it in mind, such a heart never has to feel that ache of separation.

The deepest good you can love never dies and never leaves — so that love can never truly be taken from you.
The deeper layer

Right after the mourning-songs (the Alaahnian), Guru Amar Das offers their healing answer — and it deliberately reverses the widow imagery of those songs. The virtuous soul-bride kaday na hovai vidhvaa—"shall never be a widow, and shall never endure suffering," because her Beloved "is the One who does not die and does not leave." Where the funeral songs sat with the ache of losing a loved one who can die, this shabad points to the one Love that cannot be lost. Keeping that Love in remembrance, a heart "never suffers separation." For a child, gently: the deepest good you can love never dies and never leaves — so that love can never truly be taken from you.

A Question to Sit With

What kind of love do you think can never be lost or taken away?
