ਤਿਤੁ ਜਾਇ ਬਹਹੁ ਸਤਸੰਗਤੀ ਜਿਥੈ ਹਰਿ ਕਾ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਬਿਲੋਈਐ ॥
tit jaa-ay bahhu satsangtee jithai har kaa har naam bilo-ee-ai.
Go, and sit in the Sat Sangat, the True Congregation, where the Name of the Lord is churned.
ਸਹਜੇ ਹੀ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਲੇਹੁ ਹਰਿ ਤਤੁ ਨ ਖੋਈਐ ॥
sehjay hee har naam layho har tat na kho-ee-ai.
In peace and poise, contemplate the Lord's Name - don't lose the essence of the Lord.
ਨਿਤ ਜਪਿਅਹੁ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਦਿਨਸੁ ਰਾਤਿ ਹਰਿ ਦਰਗਹ ਢੋਈਐ ॥
nit japi-ahu har har dinas raat har dargeh dhoo-ee-ai.
Chant the Name of the Lord, Har, Har, constantly, day and night, and you shall be accepted in the Court of the Lord.
ਸੋ ਪਾਏ ਪੂਰਾ ਸਤਗੁਰੂ ਜਿਸੁ ਧੁਰਿ ਮਸਤਕਿ ਲਿਲਾਟਿ ਲਿਖੋਈਐ ॥
so paa-ay pooraa satguroo jis Dhur mastak lilaat likho-ee-ai.
He alone finds the Perfect True Guru, on whose forehead such a pre-ordained destiny is written.
ਤਿਸੁ ਗੁਰ ਕੰਉ ਸਭਿ ਨਮਸਕਾਰੁ ਕਰਹੁ ਜਿਨਿ ਹਰਿ ਕੀ ਹਰਿ ਗਾਲ ਗਲੋਈਐ ॥੪॥
tis gur kaN-u sabh namaskaar karahu jin har kee har gaal galo-ee-ai. ||4||
Let everyone bow in worship to the Guru, who utters the sermon of the Lord. ||4||

Go and sit with good company, where the good is stirred up and shared like butter from milk.
Quietly keep what's true in mind, and don't lose the heart of it.
Bow gladly to those who share good, true words.
Good company is like churning milk into butter — it draws the goodness out of you.
The Pauree gives the beautiful churning image: "sit in the Sat Sangat, where the Name of the Lord is churned" — like churning milk to bring out butter, good company churns the deep goodness out of us. "In peace and poise, contemplate the Name — don't lose the essence." For a child: good company is like churning milk into butter — it draws the goodness out of you.
