In plain words

O soul-bride — without your deepest connection, what good are all the decorations? The jewelry, the clothes, the beauty rituals?

In this world, you won't find shelter in them. In the deeper accounting, they count for nothing.

What you adorn on the outside doesn't reach the inside. And the inside is where the real meeting happens.

No outer adornment reaches the inner space where the real connection lives.
The deeper layer

The rahao is addressed directly to the soul-bride — and by extension, to anyone who has prioritized appearance over substance. The decorations are not evil — they are simply insufficient. They do not reach the place that needs reaching.

This extends naturally to any kind of performative spirituality: the elaborate ritual, the public prayer, the conspicuous virtue — all decorations that miss the point if they're not rooted in genuine inner connection.

A Question to Sit With

Is there something you do that looks like one thing from the outside but feels like something different on the inside? What would the inside version look like?
