In plain words

Those whom God causes to abide by His Will —

They have the Shabad of His Word abiding deep within.

They are the true soul-brides — who embrace love for their Husband Lord.

Those whom God causes to abide by His Will have the Shabad overflowing within — they are the true soul-brides who remain in the dust at their Husband Lord's feet.
The deeper layer

Jin-haa man-naa-i-aa man-naa-i-aa — those whom He Himself caused to accept (man-naa-i-aa — caused to believe, caused to accept into the mind, caused to receive). The active divine causation: not the bride who decided to accept the Husband's will, but the one whom the Lord caused to accept it. The divine sovereignty running through the whole ashtapadee.

Sabad-u rahi-aa bhar-poor-i — the Shabad pervades (rahi-aa bhar-poor-i — filled full, overflowing within them) within them. The full Shabad — the divine Word — is not something they acquired; it is something that pervades them because the Lord caused them to receive it. The Shabad-fullness is the condition of the true soul-bride.

Dhan sohaagan naaree-aa, jo pirh sio rahai-aa dhoor-i — blessed are the happy soul-brides (dhan sohaagan naaree-aa — blessed the fortunate women/souls) who remain absorbed in dust at their Husband's feet (pirh sio rahai-aa dhoor-i — remain in the dust of the Husband's feet). The posture of the true bride: not demanding, not performing, not showcasing devotion — remaining in the dust at His feet. Complete humility, complete proximity.

A Question to Sit With

What does it feel like when you are fully aligned with something larger than yourself — not straining, not performing, just wholly at home in it?
