In plain words

The one who is accepted in the Lord's Court is accepted everywhere. In every situation, recognized as honorable.

Wherever they go, they are known for their integrity. Even sinners are saved just by seeing their face.

Within them is the Treasure of the Naam — and through the Naam, they are exalted.

They worship the Name and believe in the Name. The Name erases all their past mistakes.

Those who meditate with one-pointed, focused mind remain forever stable in the world.

Accepted at the Lord's Court, you are accepted everywhere — and sinners are saved just by your face.
The deeper layer

The credential that surpasses all credentials

Jo dar Har kā darsan pā'e, so darsan sabhnā dā darsanā — "one who is accepted at the Court of the Lord shall be accepted in courts everywhere." The spiritual credential is the one that unlocks all other recognitions. This is not about social networking or political access — it is about an interior quality that is universally readable.

The person accepted at the Lord's Court has something in them that is genuine — the Naam, the presence of the divine — and this genuineness is perceptible. "Wherever he goes, he is recognized as honorable." Not because he performs honor but because the genuine quality is there and others can sense it.

Sinners saved by seeing the face

Jin nāl sangi pāp karrhe, tinhā drasṭ udhrā'ie — "seeing his face, all sinners are saved." This is the most striking claim in the Pauree: the Gurmukh's effect is so powerful that even accidental contact — just seeing the face — saves those around them. The Name inside the Gurmukh radiates outward, and even those who carry significant negative karma are affected by the radiation.

One-pointed mind as the condition for stability

Jo ik man ik chit Har simrde, se athvāhū sathal sansāre — "those who meditate on the Name with one-pointed mind and focused consciousness remain forever stable in the world." The stability the world usually seeks through wealth, position, and security — it comes from one-pointed meditation. Not the stability of external circumstances, but the stability of an orientation that does not shift.

A Question to Sit With

*Have you ever been around someone whose presence made you feel better about yourself or safer in some way, without them doing anything specific? What was that quality?*
