In plain words

The Lord's devotees have faith in Him — and the Lord knows everything. He knows everyone.

No one is as great a Knower as the Lord. He administers completely righteous justice.

Why should we feel burning anxiety? The Lord does not punish anyone without just cause.

True is the Master. True is His Justice. Only the sinners are ultimately defeated.

O devotees — press your palms together and praise the Lord. He saves His humble devotees.

True is the Master and True is His Justice — the devoted have no reason for burning anxiety.
The deeper layer

Devotional assurance — freedom from anxiety

Bhaund bhai ko'ī na jā'ie, kio kā sach rā'ie — "Why should we feel any burning anxiety, since the Lord does not punish without just cause?" The Pauree's central pastoral claim: anxiety about the Lord's judgment is structurally unwarranted for those who live in truth.

The logic: the Lord is the greatest Knower; His justice is completely righteous; He does not punish without cause. Therefore, the one who lives in truth has nothing to fear from the One who knows everything perfectly and judges righteously. The burning anxiety (bhaund bhai) that characterizes the ego's experience before divine judgment is released by this understanding.

"True is the Master, True is His Justice"

Sach sāhib, sach nyā'u — "True is the Master, and True is His Justice." Two sach (True) — the double claim. The Lord's essential nature is Truth, and His justice is an expression of that essential nature. The justice is not arbitrary, not punitive, not capricious. It is the natural expression of the Truth that is the Lord's being.

"Only the sinners are defeated"

Pāpī'ā nō hāru — "only the sinners are defeated." The righteous are not. The devotees who praise the Lord with pressed palms are on the side that does not lose. Not because they are morally perfect, but because they have oriented themselves toward the Truth that the Lord embodies, and the Truth does not lose.

A Question to Sit With

*What would change about how you go through your day if you genuinely believed that what you actually are (not what you appear to be) is seen and judged fairly by something perfectly wise?*
