The soul-bride is overcome by desire. She swings her arms in joy — but what she desires is the outer wedding, not the inner union.
The false ones are being cheated. The manmukhs do not recognize their Husband Lord.
There is a real joy available — but it requires finding the real groom, not just performing the wedding.
The soul-bride metaphor enters its most complex expression here: the bride who is overcome by desire but for the wrong thing. She performs the wedding — literally swinging her arms in the dance of celebration — but she has missed the actual meeting.
Jhoothe (false ones) being thagay (cheated/deceived) — the manmukhs who think they have the Husband but are deceived by their own ego's substitution. What they have found is a counterfeit, and the counterfeit will eventually reveal itself.
Can you think of a time when you were very excited about something — an experience, a relationship, a goal — that turned out to be a counterfeit of what you were actually seeking? What was the real thing you were looking for?
