The Gurmukh Merges in Truth

sach salaahee sach lagaa sachai naa-ay taripat ho-ay.
Praising the True One, attached to the True One, I am satisfied with the True Name.
gun veechaaree gun sangrahaa avgun kadhaa Dho-ay.
Contemplating His Virtues, I accumulate virtue and merit; I wash myself clean of demerits.
aapay mayl milaa-idaa fir vaychhorhaa na ho-ay.
He Himself unites us in His Union; there is no more separation.
naanak gur saalaahee aapnaa jidoo paa-ee parabh so-ay. ||4||27||60||
O Nanak, I sing the Praises of my Guru; through Him, I find that God. ||4||27||60||

In plain words

The Gurmukh merges in Truth. They remain absorbed in the True Lord forever.

O Nanak, through the Shabad, the Naam is obtained. And one is welcomed into the Creator's Court.

The Creator who watched over the creation from the beginning now welcomes home what was always His.

The Creator who watched from the beginning welcomes home at the end — the watching was also a waiting.
The deeper layer

The closing pauri completes the shabad's frame: the Creator who opens the shabad watching over creation (Pauri 0) now welcomes the Gurmukh into His Court (Darbaar). The watchful Creator and the welcomed Gurmukh are in the same frame: the watching was always also a waiting.

Sach meh saach samaaee — absorbed in Truth, in Truth. The repetition of sach grounds the merger: Truth merging in Truth. Nothing has been lost; everything has been found.

A Question to Sit With

What does it feel like to be welcomed home — actually welcomed, genuinely received? When have you experienced that?
