In plain words

All things are in Your Power, O Lord. You are the Creator of the Creation.

You Yourself are the Doer and the Cause. You Yourself attach us to Your Name.

When this is truly known — not as a doctrine but as a lived recognition — the clinging to personal power relaxes.

All is in His hands — which is the most freeing truth when genuinely received, not the most frightening.
The deeper layer

Tere haath (in Your hands) — everything is in the Lord's hands. This is the theological position of complete divine sovereignty: the Creator and the creation are not independent realities in a relationship; the creation is entirely within the Creator's hands.

The recognition is liberating: if all is in His hands, the anxious effort to control outcomes can be released. Not passivity — but action without the anxiety of needing to ensure results.

A Question to Sit With

What would you do differently if you genuinely believed that outcomes were entirely in the hands of a loving and wise intelligence, and your job was simply to act well?
