In plain words

O my mind — meditate on the Name of the Lord, Har, Har.

The Naam is your Companion. It shall always be with you. It shall save you in the world hereafter.

Everything else ends at the border. The Naam alone travels with you.

Everything ends at the border — the Naam alone is the companion who travels with you across it.
The deeper layer

The rahao introduces the saathi (companion) quality of the Naam: it always accompanies you (sadaa naal). The world's goods — wealth, relationships, status — do not accompany at death. The Naam is the one companion that does.

"It shall save you in the world hereafter" — aglai dee sohjhi deh — the Naam provides orientation in what comes after. The companion who knows the road you are traveling.

A Question to Sit With

What do you most want to take with you — not physically, but what qualities, what recognitions, what love — when everything else is left behind?
