In plain words

Make the effort. Meditate on the Lord's Name.

Day by day, the world keeps fading away. Don't be deceived by it.

Whatever was built up is crumbling. Only the Name remains standing.

Make the effort — meditate on the Name — the world is fading day by day and the effort cannot wait.
The deeper layer

The urgency of practice: jatan kar (make the effort) — a rare directive-first opening that emphasizes that the practice requires real application. Not passive waiting for grace, but active turning toward the Name.

Din din jaat jaaneeai jagat — day by day, the world is seen to be fading. Not a theological claim: an observation. Look at the world day after day. What is happening? It is fading, decreasing, ending. The wise see this. Those who do not see it are the ones still building on what is crumbling.

The first mover in transformation is nevertheless the effort — you cannot receive without turning toward what you wish to receive.

A Question to Sit With

What would 'making the effort' look like in your spiritual life right now — a specific, practical change in how you spend your time or attention?
