No Rescue Too Cosmic for Him, and None Too Small
Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa
He puts life back into what was dead - He feeds the ones who have nothing.
All treasures live inside one glance of His. What is written for each of us finds us.
Everything is His; He does all. There has never been another - there will never be another.
So remember Him, day and night, forever - it is the cleanest, highest way to live. And whoever He blesses with the Name becomes clean all the way through.
The One brings the dead back to life and feeds the hungry. No rescue is too big, and none too small.
Mirtak ka-o jeevaalanhaar — the One who puts life back into the dead. This can be read in more than one way at once. It is the Creator's power over life itself. It is also something people see every day. A heart that went numb and gave up comes alive again when grace touches it. So can a hope, a marriage, or an inner life, long after everyone had given up.
Next to it: bhookhay ka-o dayvat aDhaar — the One gives food to the hungry. So the two lines cover every size of rescue. Life itself, and lunch. The One is there for both.
Sarab niDhaan jaa kee daristee maahi — all treasures are in the One's glance. Not in mines or bank vaults. In a single look.
At the center is the strongest statement of oneness. Tis bin doosar ho-aa na hog — besides the One, there has never been another, and there never will be. It was One, it is One, and it will always be One.
Have you ever seen something everyone had given up on come back to life? What touched it?
