In plain words

The words of the holy are the best mantra of all. They wipe away millions of wrongs.

Nanak says: thinking of the One's lotus feet, a whole family, through all its generations, is carried across.

The words of the wise wash away even a mountain of mistakes.
The deeper layer

The words of holy people clear away more wrongs than anyone could count.

Sumantar saaDh bachnaa: the words of the holy are the finest mantra. Kot dokh binaasneh: they destroy millions of faults.

Har charan kamal: the lotus feet of the One, a picture of humble, loving closeness. Kul samooh uDhaarneh: remembering them lifts up the whole family line. Goodness in one person spreads to the people around them.
