O Lord! Bathing in the Sacred Pool of Raam Daas, the sins are washed away, O Nanak. ||10||

In plain words

I have seen every place, and none is like you.

The Creator, the Maker of destiny, built you, and that is why you are so beautiful.

Ramdaspur, the town of Raam Daas, is full of life, crowded with people, and beautiful beyond compare.

O Lord! Nanak says: bathing in the pool of Raam Daas, wrongs are washed away.

The town of Raam Daas shines because the Creator built it.
The deeper layer

Ramdaspur, the town we now call Amritsar, is more beautiful than any other place.

The Guru says, I have seen every place, and none is like you. The Creator set this town up, and so it shines. It is busy and full of people, and more beautiful than anything.

At its heart is the sar, the sacred pool of Guru Raam Daas.

Bathing there washes away the dirt of wrongdoing, kasmal.

Think of a place where people gather to sing, cook and share. The buildings are nice, but the love is what makes it glow. People come to the pool with open hearts, and they leave feeling clean and new, ready to begin again.

A Question to Sit With

What place feels special to you because of the love inside it?
