In plain words

You are the treasure of every good quality; who can know the worth of Your wisdom and the thought of You? O One, Your place is known as the highest of the high.

Mind, wealth and breath are all Yours. The whole world is strung on Your one thread. What praise can I give You? You are the greatest of the great.

Who can know Your secret, O Unseen, Endless One? Your power cannot be stopped. O One, You are the support of all.

Your devotees stand at Your Door, O One, and they are like You. Nanak, Your servant, says: with only one tongue, how can I describe them?

I give myself to them, again and again and again, forever.

The whole world is strung on the One's single thread.
The deeper layer

Mind, wealth and breath all belong to the One, and the whole world hangs on the One's single thread.

Sarab gun niDhaana(n): the treasure of all good qualities. Oochay tay oochou: higher than the highest. Man Dhan tayro paraana(n): mind, wealth and breath are Yours.

Aykai soot hai jahaana(n): the world is on one thread, like beads on a necklace. The beads look separate, but one string holds them all. This verse closes the group of four that end with the same refrain.

A Question to Sit With

If everything is strung on one thread, how might that change the way you treat other people?
