The One is called True, True, True, True, the Truest of the True.
There is no one else like the One, the First Being from the very beginning.
Saying the nectar Naam of the One, the mind finds every comfort.
Those who taste it on their tongue are filled and satisfied.
The one the Master is pleased with loves the Sangat.
Whoever meets the One through Guru Nanak lifts up their whole family line.
The One is the Truest of the True, and tasting the Naam fills a person completely.
Sat sat har sat sat: the One is True, again and again, like a drumbeat. Pa-uraatan: the First Being, there from the start. Amrit har ko naam: the Naam of the One is nectar. Taripat aghaa-ay: filled up, like after exactly the right meal.
Jih thaakur suparsan bha-yo satsangat tih pi-aar: the one the Master is pleased with loves the satsangat, the Sangat, people gathered together to remember the One. Sabh kul kee-o uDhaar: the whole family line is lifted.
